About Us

John Atkins Cycles is an independent, family run cycle shop that has been serving the Leamington, Warwick and Coventry cycling community since 1976. We have over 100 years of experience combined in cycle sales, service and manufacture.

Our shop in Leamington Spa has over 120 bikes on display, with mountain, road, hybrid, electric, folding and kid's bikes all covered, from brands such as Trek, Brompton, Scott, Whyte, Raleigh, Frog, Ridgeback... and more! But don't worry if that all sounds like a lot – we're here to help. With our expert advice you can be sure that you're getting the right bike, whether you're commuting to work, shredding some gnarly trails, or enjoying a gentle ride round the park. Tell us what sort of riding you want to do and we'll help match you up to the perfect bike for the job.

If you want to pick out the components for your bike down to the last bolt, we offer a complete custom build service, with frames from all of the above plus Surly, Van Nicholas and custom steel frames from local frame builder Lee Cooper. We can help spec out your bike to be exactly the way you want it. Even with stock bikes we are happy to customise to make it fit your requirements.
