Cane Creek is proud to introduce the new Air IL and Coil IL shocks, offering class-leading performance in a smaller and stronger package. The IL shocks feature externally adjustable DB Twin Tube technology, providing the widest range of 4-way damping adjustability on the market. Both AIR IL and Coil IL have a thicker inner damper tube for increased strength and a reduction in overall width on the valve body, making them more versatile for tight frames. The AIR IL has a smaller outer diameter of the Air spring, increasing the likelihood of fitment while allowing for higher max psi pressure. The Coil IL features added detents on the preload collar for more precise tuning. Hand-assembled and individually dyno-tested in our Western North Carolina facility, IL shocks continue to provide unmatched quality, performance, and rider benefit.INLINE SHOCKS TWIN-TUBE DESIGN:Setting the DBair & DBcoil IL apart from other inline shocks, oil circulates continuously through externally adjustable shock valves. Twin-tube shocks have two main chambers, a compression chamber, and a rebound chamber, separated by the adjustable valves. The main damping piston forces damping oil between the compression and rebound chambers via the externally adjustable damping valves.Compared to other shocks in its class, Cane Creek inline shocks use significantly more oil in the damper, resulting in less fade, more control, and greater consistency on the trail.4-WAY ADJUSTMENT:The DB IL shocks offer an unparalleled range of adjustability through external adjusters that independently control each phase of damping without crossover effects. High and low-speed compression, as well as high and low-speed rebound, can be independently adjusted.Other inline shocks typically provide a single rebound adjustment or rebound combined with limited pre-set low-speed compression. The easy tunability of DB IL shocks allows riders to make quick trailside changes for personalized fine-tuning.CLIMB SWITCH:The DB IL shocks feature a Climb Switch, which adjusts the low-speed damping through internal climbing circuits. These circuits are specifically tuned for off-road climbing, improving pedal efficiency with less chassis motion. Unlike other climbing platforms, our CS feature adjusts both low-speed compression and rebound. All variants include the new integrated tool nested in our CS lever.LinEair SPRING:The DBair IL features our LinEair Spring, which activates with less force.
