Cane Creek is proud to introduce the new Air IL and Coil IL shocks from the DBcoil IL G2 range. These shocks offer class-leading performance in a smaller and stronger package. The IL shocks feature externally adjustable DB Twin Tube technology, providing the widest range of 4-way damping adjustability on the market.Both the AIR IL and Coil IL shocks have been improved with a thicker inner damper tube for increased strength. The valve body has also been reduced in overall width by 17mm, allowing for greater fitment possibilities on tight frames. The AIR IL shock has a 6mm reduction in the outer diameter of the Air spring, increasing the likelihood of fitment, while also increasing the maximum psi pressure to 350psi.The Coil IL shock now features added detents on the preload collar, allowing for more precise preload tuning. These shocks are hand-assembled and individually dyno-tested in our facility in Western North Carolina, guaranteeing a level of quality and performance that is unmatched.One of the features that sets the DBair and DBcoil IL shocks apart from other inline shocks is the Twin-tube design. Oil circulates continuously through externally adjustable shock valves, resulting in less fade, more control, and greater consistency on the trail. Cane Creek inline shocks use significantly more oil in the damper, providing superior performance compared to other shocks in its class.The DB IL shocks also offer unparalleled adjustability with external adjusters that independently control each phase of damping. This means that high and low-speed compression, as well as high and low-speed rebound, can be independently adjusted. Unlike other inline shocks, which may only offer a single rebound adjustment or limited pre-set low-speed compression, the DB IL shocks allow for quick trail-side changes, providing personalized fine-tuning for increased pop, plushness, or other desired features.The DB IL shocks also feature a Climb Switch, which when engaged, adjusts both low-speed compression and rebound. This improves pedal efficiency with less chassis motion during off-road climbing. All variants of the shocks include an integrated tool nested in the CS (Climb Switch) lever for added convenience.The DBair IL shock comes with the LinEair Spring, which requires less force to activate and provides a consistent feel of a coil shock throughout the travel.
